You know how much I love sharing great finds with you all, right?? Well, this is a particularly good one! Denim shopping made easier…discover that perfect pair of jeans thanks to the fantastic fit technology of Fitcode.
We all understand that the struggle is real when searching for the ideal fitting pair of jeans (if only it were “as simple” as jeans and a tee, right?!). This is particularly true for those of us shopping online. Enter Fitcode’s genius solution which focuses on fit rather than a size.
Fitcode was started in 2015 by model Rian Buckley. As a fashion insider, Rain realized that shopping online was particularly difficult because clothes are often photoshopped, pinned, and otherwise altered for photos. This fact, coupled with women’s focus on a numbered size rather fit, often leads to frustrated shoppers, increased returns to retailers, and generally ill-fitting jeans.
Rian and her team sought to ease the pains of online denim purchasing by focusing on fit rather than size and even measurements (because who really does that anyway??). Via the Fitcode site, you simply answer a short quiz that asks you to choose from various sizing and fit questions, resulting in your unique “fit code.” Seriously, it’s so easy that even I had the patience for it!
Then, armed with your code, the site will suggest jeans that would be an ideal fit. In particular, I enjoyed seeing videos of models who share both my fit code and sizing (some videos even deterred me from adding the jeans to my cart). From there, Fitcode directs you to retailers (such as Nordstrom, 7 For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, and more), where you can purchase the jeans Fitcode recommends for you. It really couldn’t be more simple!
Giving Fitcode a try is free and utterly painless. Let me know what you think! I’m lovin’ these Citizens of Humanity jeans I scored based on my fit code (which was 350). Thanks for reading! ~Jenn
