The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full-swing (and finally open to the public!) As you may have noticed, I have been spending a lot of time shopping this sale; working with clients to prepare their wardrobes for fall and blogging to bring you my most favorite pieces. You may be relieved to know, that I also managed to find time to do a little shopping for myself!
I am lovin’ these Current/Elliott straight-leg cropped jeans (I originally posted about them on the first day of early-access shopping). I would best describe them as a skinny/boyfriend jean hybrid because they are snug around the thigh yet become more straight toward the calf. And the undone, cropped hem had this ’90’s child at “hello.”
A client asked how I planned to wear these Hinge wedge booties into fall. While more of an early fall staple, I plan on wearing peep-toe booties in the winter too, but being more cautious about the outing (and weather conditions) – for example, from-car-to-restaurant for date night. I also wear suede freely throughout the winter…yes, even in Seattle. I suggest spraying with a suede protectant (paying particular attention to where the shoe meets the sole and the toe areas), then wipe any snow or rain off with a dry cloth if you have been in particularly inclement weather (you should be doing this with your leather shoes too!)
Anniversary Sale Finds jeans: Current/Elliott | sweatshirt: Topshop | booties: Hinge | earrings: Nadri
Other Details purse: Auxiliary | sunglasses: Le Specs (also loving these from the sale) | rings: Gorjana, Topshop (similar), Alexis Bittar
This is my 3 year-old doing her best fashion blogger poses – apparently I bend my knees and make funny faces while wearing sunglasses.
Thanks for reading and happy shopping! ~Jenn (and Eloise)
