Dressing-up for holiday events doesn’t have to be complicated. And rather than investing in special occasion pieces that you may rarely wear, instead turn to your closet for inspiration. Spending on luxe items, like this special cashmere sweater, will likely see much more return than a sparkly number you break out once a year. Easily paired with jeans (as I’ve done here), worn to work with a simple pencil skirt, or even dressed-up by tucking it in to a full skirt; a classic black sweater can be worn a multitude of ways.
And this Subtle Luxury sweater is not your ordinary black sweater. 100% cashmere, it feels super soft and cozy. I love the “two-neck” detail that makes this sweater special (yes, the turtleneck is attached in the back). Finally, small dot detailing at the wrists adds another unique detail to this special sweater.
When wearing classic pieces, the devil is in the details. Add some sparkle, a special shoe, and a detailed bag. I also like the contrast between the fancy accessories and the destroyed denim. Slacks or a skirt would make this outfit more dressy, but the addition of the jeans gives a cool vibe.
And seriously, these shoes deserve a special shout-out. I am obsessing over everything velvet this season. The texture and how the light plays on them, and the deep wine color seems to go with everything I want to be wearing. In a classic, pointed-toe pump, these shoes are classy paired with jeans yet equally gorgeous worn with a dress. See below for purchase details.
