Ahhh…take me back to my roots. I’m loving the return of full skirts, particularly in the midi and maxi lengths. In addition to the nostalgia, long skirts are such a great transition pieces for the fall; easy to wear now with a slip-on shoe or even a sandal, or later in the season paired with tights and boots. And, as always, layer it up as the weather becomes chillier. I’m loving the return of a long skirt paired with a blazer (so Julia Roberts early 90’s) and, of course, a trusty moto jacket always works too.
And sneakers? Just my luck, they continue to be everywhere this season. And with everything! The fashion set is pairing sneakers with everything from suits to dresses (and, of course, maxi skirts). Everything goes here too – from a true athletic shoe to “dad sneakers” and even a glittery trainer. And this isn’t a style that you’re changing out of once you reach the office; just be sure that your kicks are presentable.
