Oh heeeeey, just sharing another way to wear this sequin skirt! If you didn’t catch yesterday’s post on “Wardrobe ROI,” this is the second way that I’m styling this floral sequined number. And, because anything goes, why not add an awesome rock n’ roll tee and pair with vintage cowboy boots?
Funny story, my husband had this original Guns N’ Roses tee from their 1987 “Appetite for Destruction” tour – he saw them at the Staples Center in LA with Skid Row opening. Sadly, this is not the original tee. But the good news? Vintage band tees are all the rage (even those with tour dates listed on the back!). Therefore I thought it appropriate, sequin skirt aside, that for this week’s trend report I’m sharing my love of good old rock n’ roll tees.
Welcome to the jungle! I love both the oversized, vintage styling and that the 100% cotton tee lends an authentic vibe to this look. My only word of caution when donning a rock tee – choose a band that you like and can, at the very least, list a few songs if not recite some lyrics. The nostalgia for this music often evokes some commentary, so be prepared to show off your rock n’ roll chops!
Band tee favorites:
{outfit details} skirt: Alice + Olivia | tee: Daydreamer | boots: vintage (thanks Brandon!) | clutch: Clare V. | sunnies: Moscot (c/o Eye Eye) | earrings: Moss Handmade ( found at Queen Anne Frame)
Check back in next week…I’m on a roll. I’ll be featuring my third, and final, look wearing this sequin skirt.
Happy Friday and thanks for reading! ~Jenn
