All of a sudden, it’s fall here in Seattle. And while there still may days filled with sunshine; there’s a chill in the air, it’s getting dark earlier, and the mornings are crisp. It’s quintessential transitional weather – you need a coat in the morning and by mid-day you’re sweating in the sunshine. Perfect weather for a poncho!
Snuggly when wrapped around your t-shirt early in the day, and easily worn open (or taken off all together) as the day warms up. I actually find ponchos more difficult to wear in true winter, mostly because they’re not warm enough to be worn alone in Seattle’s colder winter months, yet they’re too large to wear under a true coat. Therefore, it’s time to break out the poncho.
Can we also talk about these mules?? Move aside booties, I’m not even interested. Backless (always), heeled (or not), open toe, closed toe – the possibilities are endless! And, again, a perfect fall shoe! More structured than your sandals yet still freeing enough to wiggle your toes in the weak sunshine.
