This time of year, it’s difficult to imagine that there are places where people are still enjoying sunshine (albeit perhaps a weaker sunshine, but sunshine none-the-less). Regardless of where you reside, fall’s unpredictable temperatures beg for layering. In the California sunshine, layers can mean a light cotton shirt-jacket (worn here) or, when layered under warmer outerwear, it works just as well in Seattle. Now the sandals…definitely not water proof!
Not-to mention, layering summer pieces (such as this pineapple tank) is a great way to extend your summer wardrobe. And linger in those last few rays of fall sunshine.
Lamenting about the weather aside, let’s talk about shopping on a budget. You don’t have to break the bank to look put together and to wear pieces that reflect your personal style. This jacket…Forever 21 (yes, really). And if you are coveting more expensive pieces; be patient. For example, now is an excellent time to snap up those summer staples you are sure to be reaching for come warmer weather. This tank, on sale! And these sandals, major sale! Be sure to check out all of the shopping details below.

Love that pineapple tee but the army jacket definitely gave that oomph to this look!
